Alex is drawn to a wide range of artistic and decorative styles that have made their way into her textile designs, including Indian block-prints, Italian ceramics, and English transferware. “I find inspiration everywhere,” Alex notes, “from the natural landscapes of California’s rolling hills to wrought iron gates, mosaic floors, and painted tiles. When I traveled to India a few years ago, the rich décor and architecture inspired me to think about design in a different way.”
